The travel bug bit me when I was very young! Having a mother who was born in Aruba, and who lived in Greece and England growing up, probably helped. The stories she told of taking the tube to school and of family vacations to Chalkidiki (a.k.a. the finger islands in Greece) had me intrigued and wanting to see the world.

I've been incredibly blessed in my life and I've had the opportunity to travel to many different countries before I turned 40. Now, looking ahead to my next 40 years, I'm eager to check off even more places off my travel bucket list.
